Mr. Dong Junfeng is Chairman of China UnionPay Co., Ltd. He also serves as Deputy Chairman of the APEC China Business Council and Chairman of UnionPay International Co., Ltd. He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Peking University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Renmin University of China.
Mr. Dong has extensive experience and expertise in areas of online banking, payment clearing, financial and regulatory technologies, and financial risk prevention. He is the inventor of a number of patents and numerous business methods, and the winner of the Top Honor of the Fintech Development Award granted by the People’s Bank of China, as well as the First Prize of the IT Risk Management in the Banking Industry Research Program organized by the former China Banking Regulatory Commission.
