As a two-time Curator of the Kakuma Hub and a member of the Global Shapers community, Deng has spent years bridging the gap between grassroots needs and global policy. He is the founder of Prime Demand Solution, an initiative tackling the intersection of food security and climate change, and Ecozi, his latest venture since moving to Canada in May 2025.
Deng’s leadership extends into the digital economy as a Team Leader at stepup.one, where he helps refugees transform their lives through high-demand digital skills. A recognized voice at the World Economic Forum and One Young World, he is passionate about SDG16 and believes that by empowering the next generation today, we can safeguard a more peaceful and equitable world for tomorrow.
