Founder and CEO of Algebris Investments, a global asset management boutique that manages Long Only and Hedged strategies in Credit, Equity and Non-Performing Loans, with a focus on Global Financials. Founded in 2006, Algebris currently manages $18.5 billion of assets and maintains offices in London (FCA regulated), Boston (SEC), Singapore (MAS), Luxembourg (CSSF), Milan, Rome, Dublin and Tokyo (FSA). Davide is recognised as one of the world's leading experts on financial services. Often consulted by the world's central bankers and regulators on policy matters. Recipient, Commendatore designation, a decoration of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. Chairman and Trustee, Hakuna Matata foundation, a registered UK charity founded with his wife, focused on assisting orphaned children in central Tanzania. Former professional volleyball player; keen alpinist.
