Colleen May is the President of the Bioindustrials Group, leading Cargill’s global expansion of renewable and sustainable solutions for the industrial segments. She began her career as a commodity merchant and has held a variety of trading, risk management and commercial leadership positions in Cargill’s Grain & Oilseeds Supply Chain in North America, Animal Nutrition, and Trade & Structured Finance business units. Colleen has also served as the general manager of Cargill’s U.S. biodiesel and refined glycerin business. In 2012, she became the vice president of Corn Milling North America food segment and in 2014, Colleen became the Global Managing Director of Cargill Texturizing & Specialties, before assuming her current position.
Colleen is a member of Cargill’s Commodity Risk Committee. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Cargill Foundation, Second Harvest Heartland and the Blake School.
Colleen graduated from St. Olaf College with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Chemistry and Economics.
Colleen and her family reside in Tonka Bay, Minnesota, USA.
