Claus Crone Fuglsang is the Chief Science Officer and Executive Vice President in Novozymes. Claus oversees Novozymes global R&D organization with more than 1000 employees covering the basic research disciplines and technologies in the discovery and development of enzyme and microbial products incl. the upscaling and later optimization of production as well as registration, product safety and IP. Claus is educated as a cand. scient in Biochemistry from the University of Copenhagen (1993) and holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, UK (2000), besides completing various management and leadership courses at MIT, Boston and IMD, Lausanne
