Clarissa Delgado

Co-Founder and Board Trustee, Teach For the Philippines

I co-founded and led, for over a decade, a non-profit organization that trains and deploys teachers to under-resourced public schools across the Philippine archipelago. In August 2023, I finished executing a planned year-long transition from the CEO role. I left the organization with my nominated successor, along with a fully fundraised annual budget and a reserve of 2 million USD. I remain a founding Board Member, and am proud to see the organization continue to thrive.

I have a Masters in Education. While taking a career break from end-2023 to end-2024, I have been working towards a postgraduate diploma in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge. During this time, I simultaneously completed the WEF Young Global Leaders (YGL) executive education course on global leadership hosted by the Harvard Kennedy School of Government in March 2024.

It is an honor to be part of various international networks of leaders and changemakers, such as the Obama Foundation's inaugural Fellowship, the YGLs, YPO, Asia Society's Asia 21 Young Leaders, and Temasek Foundation's Singapore Summit Young Societal Leaders programme.
