Camila Hurtado has spearheaded and advised high-impact ICT projects and digital communication strategies across both the commercial and non-profit sectors. She is a co-founder of clusterlab.co, a social network that integrates the members of the Creative Industries Cluster of the Colombian Coffee Region with the objective of promoting co-creation and promotion of this sector at a national and international level.
Camila has been the general coordinator of ViveLab Manizales, a digital content MediaLab in partnership with the Colombian Ministry of ICT and the University of Caldas, where she has led the development of projects and training programs regarding innovation and digital culture to reduce the digital and social gap.
Her interest and experience in design integrated within technology have allowed her to obtain a transversal vision to lead along with interdisciplinary teams, the digital strategies focused on the user experience, the interaction between several stakeholders and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to improve productivity and daily life.
Currently, she is an advisor of the Science Center at the University of Caldas, a laboratory for citizen construction and participation, where through the integration of science, art and technology; interdisciplinary teams generate collaborative solutions for social and environmental issues of the local communities.
She holds a Master Degree in Design and Interactive Creation, and a Bachelor degree in Visual Design at the Caldas University in Colombia.
