Ann R. and Andrew H. Tisch Distinguished Visiting Fellow, Brookings Institution

As General Counsel and Acting Secretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce played a global leadership role in issues of innovation, trade, and the flow of information across borders. He was a leader in the Obama Administration's work on data privacy, cybersecurity, international rule of law, and trade.

He coninues this work at the Center for Technology and Innovation of the Brookings Institution, and as a Visiting Scholar at the MIT Media Lab and Senior Counsel at Sidley Austin, LLP.
