Beate Zwijnenberg, Global Chief Information Security Officer (Global CISO) ING Bank
As Global CISO Beate plays an important role in keeping the bank secure by protecting our digital assets and those of our customers against cyber threats.
Beate was previously Director Fraud & Cybersecurity for ING Belgium & Domestic Bank Netherlands where she was responsible for the (IT) development of IAM and fraud management services to ING customers and employees. In this role she established a Cyber Defense Center to effectively respond to and mitigate cyber threats. Before this role she was also responsible for Fraud management at ING in the Netherlands where she build a central Fraud management department for fraud prevention, detection, response and investigations.
Since joining ING in 1998, Beate has held several positions in product management, change management and operational management within Retail Banking and Insurance.
