B Kalyan Kumar (KK) serves as President of HCLSoftware, the software products and IP division of HCLTech, where he leads GTM strategy, product, engineering, cloud operations, and all shared enterprise functions. He is the architect of HCLSoftware’s XDO Blueprint (Experience, Data, Operations), which guides the transition toward agentic service platforms and outcome-based consumption models.

With over 25 years at HCL, KK has held multiple leadership roles, including Global CTO and Head of Ecosystems, where he shaped technology strategy, cloud platforms, and partnerships across major ecosystems (AWS, Microsoft, Google, IBM-Red Hat, SAP). He founded DRYiCE.AI, advancing AIOps and service orchestration, and launched MTaaS, an early Business Service Management SaaS platform.

KK is a member of the Wall Street Journal CIO Network and the CNBC Technology Executive Council, where he actively contributes to industry thought leadership and global perspectives. He also serves on the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on GovTech and Digital Public Infrastructure, and previously on the Global Future Council on Quantum Computing. In addition, KK is a Fellow of the British Computer Society. He has co-authored nine books in the domains of business technology, service management, XaaS, cloud-native architectures, process re-engineering, and Vedantic wisdom.

Beyond work, KK supports cricket development, is active in multiple sports, and pursues music.
