I am a sustainable finance professional with over 20 years of experience in the private and public sector. Equally at AfDB, I chair the Bank's blended finance taskforce to systematically scale up blended finance in Bank operations. From 2014-2016, I was Managing Director and Head of Sustainable Investments Europe and Africa at Deutsche Bank Asset Management, managing USD 2 bn of alternative investments in blended public private partnership funds in sustainable energy, agriculture and microfinance. Prior to this I worked for 11 years at the World Bank in various roles, including as senior infrastructure finance specialist based in Cameroon and Ukraine and as operations adviser transparency and aid effectiveness in Washington, DC. I started my career in debt capital markets at JP Morgan Securities Ltd. in London. I hold an MSc from London School of Economics and Political Science, UK, and an MBA from Koblenz School of Corporate Management, Germany.
