Ash Bruxvoort grew up on a conventional farm in Mitchellville, Iowa, where she fell in love with Iowa's landscape and natural heritage. She's worked for many ag and conservation organizations, including the Iowa Food Cooperative, Women, Food, and Ag Network, The Nature Conservancy in Iowa, Iowa Farmers Union, and more. She also serves on the Iowa Farmers Union board.

After spending a year traveling the United States and working on sustainable farms, she coupled her degree in Nonprofit Management and English with her experience on farms to create Farm Social Marketing. Her business aims to helps agriculture and conservation businesses improve their marketing while keeping the unique challenges of these industries in mind.
