Anne-Laure de Chammard is Group Executive Vice President and Executive Board Member of Siemens Energy. She leads one of the Group's 4 global business divisions, the "Transformation of Industry" global business area, supporting industries throughout their energy transition (€6 billion turnover, 15,000 employees, in over 60 countries). She also leads transversally the Group’s Europe and Asia Pacific Regions (€20 billion revenue, 70,000 employees, 55 factories in 60 countries).
Siemens Energy is a world leading energy technology company and a global market leader for renewable energies, with around €35 billion revenue, €75 billion market capitalization, and 100,000 employees in more than 90 countries. It is listed in the DAX10, and 1/6th of the electricity generated worldwide is based on its technologies.
Before joining Siemens Energy, Anne-Laure de Chammard was CEO of ENGIE Energy Solutions International (€4 billion turnover, 20,000 employees, in over 20 countries), in charge of decarbonization of industries and cities through energy efficiency and low-carbon energy production.
Anne-Laure started her career in the USA, as a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
She then joined the French Ministry of Energy and Environment in 2010, where she lead major infrastructure public private partnership projects (hydroelectric dams, offshore wind farms, motorways, high-speed railways, etc.).
In 2014, she joined Bureau Veritas Group, global leader in conformity services for Industry, Infrastructure and Commodities, and was promoted President and CEO of Bureau Veritas Construction in 2016.
She joined ENGIE in 2019 as Group Chief Strategy, Research & Technology and Innovation Officer to head the group’s strategy in its zero-carbon transition. She was appointed CEO of ENGIE Energy Solutions International in 2021.
Anne-Laure is also a Board Member of Renault Group, a multinational automobile manufacturer, listed on the CAC40 in Paris, with approximately €55 billion in revenues, €15 billion market cap, and 100,000 employees.
Member of the French “Corps des Ponts”, Anne-Laure de Chammard holds Master's degrees in Science and Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique (X) and Ecole Nationale des Ponts & Chaussées, and a Master's degree in Public Policy from Harvard University (Kennedy School).
She was ranked 2nd top French economic leader under 40 (Figaro-Choiseul 100), and among the Top 100 Women in Germany (Manager Magazin-BCG). She is a Young Leader of the French American and French Indian Foundations.
