Anna Zucchetti holds a Bachelor's in Biological Sciences from the University of Guildford, UK; a Master's in Environmental Education from the University of Madrid; an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, London; and has participated in the Environmental Leadership Program at the University of California, Berkeley and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government "Scaling up social entrepreneurship Program". Anna has over 30 years' experience in applied projects, consultancy, and training on urban socio-environmental issues. Formerly, she was a volunteer at the British International Cooperation for Development; General Manager at Ecolab; and Project Director at Grupo GEA. She worked for almost 10 years in the public sector as leader of the environmental and climate agenda for the city of Lima, President of Metropolitan Lima Parks System, advisor to the Vice Minister of Environment and to the Sustainable Cities Program of the Ministry of Housing. She was Dean of the School for Environmental Sciences of the CIENTIFICA University in Lima, Peru. In 2017 she founded PERIFERIA Ciudad Viva, a hybrid company-ngo devoted to greening Peruvian cities and faciltating their transition to sustainability and resilience, where she is now acting as Ecxecutive President. Anna is a Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur and a Member of Avina Leaders' Network; Ashoka Fellow; member of the Board of STAKEHOLDERS and past member of the Board of the Fundación Futuro Latinoamericano (FFLA). She has also been a member of the Peruvian Committee of the Ford Foundation Fellowship Programme. She is the recipient of several awards.
