Anna presently serves as UNHCR's Senior Development Officer in the Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific. Previously, she worked at the World Bank in Washington, DC, and with the United Nations in Libya and Syria during the hight of civil war in both countries.
She holds an MA in Islamic Studies from Harvard University, and was appointed as a Visiting Scientist at Harvard's Humanitarian Initiative in 2024.
