World Wide Web Foundation

The World Wide Web Foundation was launched in 2009 to coordinate efforts to further the potential of the web to benefit humanity. A non-profit organization, it provides global leadership, project coordination, training and tools; fosters the advancement of technology; and builds communities around its programmes throughout the world.
