HRH the Crown Prince was appointed as head of government in November 2020. Building on HRH’s previous role as First Deputy PM, the Office of the Prime Minister of Bahrain is now directly responsible for the management, improvement and execution of all government services, building on HRH’s previous role. The Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister (OFDPM) has been one of the main drivers behind economic and social development in Bahrain and has supported and facilitated the implementation of numerous projects and initiatives which focus on sustainable development to meet the current and future needs of the kingdom’s citizens and residents.
