Phylagen

Phylagen, based in San Francisco, is a biotechnology company pioneering a groundbreaking microbiome analytics platform to bring transparency and assurance to global supply chains. Using advances in high-throughput DNA sequencing, bioinformatics and machine learning, Phylagen’s technology enables the scientific determination of the origin of goods and materials – the tracing and tracking of their transit history – through the supply chain. Phylagen’s platform is being applied to commercial and government market applications, including product supply chain assurance, tariff enforcement, uncovering illicit and counterfeit product supply chains, raw material provenance, and national security applications. It has 25 technical and commercial personnel.
