nuTonomy develops state-of-the-art software for self-driving cars. The company was founded by Dr Karl Iagnemma and Dr Emilio Frazzoli, experts in robotics and intelligent vehicle technology from MIT. nuTonomy is developing the first complete solution providing point-to-point mobility via large fleets of self-driving cars; this includes software to navigate complex urban environments, smartphone-based ride hailing, fleet routing and management, and controlling a vehicle remotely through teleoperation. nuTonomy is working in close partnership with the City of Boston, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, and Singapore's Land Transport Authority to develop intelligent regulatory schemes that balance safety and innovation.
