Global Canopy Programme (GCP)

A think tank testing ways to protect tropical forests in a globalized economy using multidisciplinary approaches. Since 2005, it has built up policy and business programmes to complement its science heritage, resulting in initiatives such as the Forest Footprint Disclosure Project, the Forests Now Declaration, and the Little REDD Book series. It is now focusing on services provided by tropical forests at local to global scales that underpin climate, food, water and energy security.
