Enel is a multinational energy company and one of the world's leading global integrated electricity and gas operators. It operates in 28 countries, with an installed renewable capacity of around 63 GW and distributing electricity throughout a network spanning about 1.9 million kilometres. With about 61 million customers worldwide, it has one of the biggest customer bases among its European competitors and is among the largest European utilities by market capitalization and ordinary EBITDA.
