Easyjet is one of Europe’s leading airlines, flying 82 million passengers to 33 countries. Headquartered at London Luton Airport, it employs 15,000 people. easyJet’s structural cost advantage relative to these airlines allows it to offer customers more affordable fares. This cost advantage is created through aircraft configuration enabling a higher number of seats per aircraft; higher load factor and aircraft use; and younger fleet and advantaged fleet deal reducing ownership and maintenance costs. The group, along with associate companies EasyJet UK, EasyJet Europe and EasyJet Switzerland, operate 300 aircraft. It has 29 bases across Europe, the largest being Gatwick.
