Since 2008, Côte d'Ivoire has transitioned from crisis to relative stability, and from fragility and low equilibrium to aspiring emerging economy status. Although some of the root causes of the conflict remain, expectations are high that they will be tackled by maintaining the current transformation and intensifying the reconciliation agenda. The Government of Côte d'Ivoire expects to accelerate the implementation of measures designed to improve social cohesion, develop human capital, build a resilient economy, support territorial development and promote regional cooperation on integration.
