Coordinating Body of Indigenous Organisations of the Amazon Basin - COICA

COICA is the Coordinator of the Indigenous Organizations of the Amazon Basin, an indigenous organization of international convergence that acts on behalf of 511 indigenous peoples, of which approximately 66 are Indigenous Peoples in Voluntary Isolation and Initial Contact (PIACI). It is articulated through political-organizational base organizations and present in the 9 Amazon countries.
