The Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) is a multistakeholder membership organization of 200 companies, NGOs and public sector actors. AWS is the custodian of the AWS Standard, a best practice framework for operational facilities to develop and implement water stewardship plans and collective actions that respond to catchment contexts. The AWS Standard is used in over 60 countries by companies from the agriculture, food and beverage, ICT, pharmaceutical and textile sectors. CDP, the Science Based Targets Network (SBTN) and other frameworks reference it as a leader in water stewardship by operational site.
