Association for Craft Producers (ACP) is a local not-for-profit professional group providing design market and technical services for low income, primarily female, craft producers. Profit goes back to the producer by way of social benefit schemes like bonuses, a provident fund, a retirement scheme and informal education. ACP currently provides services to 1,000 artisans, with women constituting 90%, from 15 districts of Nepal in 17 skill categories. It has 50 full time staff and a permanent facility of over 30,000 square feet. Self-sustaining for the last 17 years with an annual turnover of $800,000. It's products are exported to 50 buyers in 17 countries.
