Air Protein

Air Protein is on a mission to feed the growing population with food made from the most sustainable source of protein. In October 2019, the Air Protein team transformed carbon dioxide to develop air-based meat: meat made with protein that doesn’t require arable land. Using a proprietary probiotic production process, Air Protein’s meat protein has an amino acid profile comparable to animal-based protein. The process uses elements found in the air (CO2, oxygen, nitrogen) and combines them with water, minerals and renewable power to produce a nutrient-rich, air-based meat enriched with B vitamins that are often deficient in a vegan diet.
