Shaping a new narrative for Latin America
Protectionist rhetoric and global political uncertainty is adversely affecting Latin America. More positively, significant reforms and upcoming elections promise far-reaching political and socio-economic transformations. At the same time, signs of economic recovery, renewed anti-corruption efforts and encouraging regional integration advancements demonstrate how the region is seeking new solutions to its challenges.
Regional Agenda
The World Economic Forum provides a platform to harness current momentum and help shape a new narrative for the region. The Latin America regional community has identified two key focuses: prioritizing responsible leadership and people’s well-being; and embracing technology and innovation to modernize economies and advance economic progress for all.
