I'm a social scientist with an interest in driving healthcare policy decision making and advancing equity through community-engaged research. I completed my PhD in Health Communication and I'm currently a postdoctoral research fellow at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. My research utilizes community-driven approaches to examine and inequities in access to and quality of obstetric care for people with multiple marginalized identities, specifically disability and race. I also assess the role of technology in bridging gaps in healthcare access. I'm energized by opportunities for multidisciplinary collaborations with professionals and researchers across community organizations and research institutes.
