Taha Bawa

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Goodwall

I am the CEO and co-founder of Goodwall (www.goodwall.io), the next generation talent platform. Goodwall reaches 90 million youth globally through its award winning app, connecting them to skills, community and opportunities regardless of where they are from. Goodwall works with governments, leading Fortune 500s and foundations to put youth on pathways to opportunity.

Goodwall has raised over 25 million USD, is a Time 100 Education Company, a WEF Technology Pioneer and received recognition from publications such as Forbes, CNN, Techcrunch, Wall Street Journal, and - most recently - the cover of Fast Company.

I sit on Generation Unlimited, hosted by UNICEF’s Global Board, chaired by the CEO of SAP and am a member of the Young Presidents Organisation. I have been privileged to be featured on several coveted lists, including Forbes 30 Under 30: Social Entrepreneurs (2018) and Entrepreneur Magazine: 15 Entrepreneurs Under 30 to Watch Out For (2020). I speak regularly on education, youth skilling, and the future of work. Examples include podcasts, such as NPR’s Guy Raz show, and conferences, including WEF Davos, Tedx, UNESCO, and UN.

Having lived in 4 countries by age 11 and working in the US, Europe, Asia, and Africa, I have a multicultural view of the world and its potential. I studied Economics at the University of Lausanne HEC and obtained an EMBA from the University of Oxford.
