Swarnali Ahmed is an Economist in Strategy, Policy and Review Department at the International Monetary Fund, having worked previously in the European Department. She also worked at Goldman Sachs International for three years, focusing on research related to global macroeconomics, emerging markets (BRICs), foreign exchange and fixed income. Her research interests include applied macroeconomics, labor economics, and structural reforms. She holds a PhD in economics from Oxford University (UK).
