Robert has been the Chief Executive of Johnson Matthey since June 2014 having previously been Group Finance Director. Prior to joining Johnson Matthey, he was Group Finance Director of WS Atkins plc, a FTSE-250 Engineering Consultancy group.

Robert grew up in Scotland and then studied at Cambridge University from where he has a Masters in Chemical Engineering. He is married with three boys who have all now left school.”
