Niccolò Cusumano

Associate Professor of Practice, SDA Bocconi School of Management

Cusumano Niccolò is Associate Professor of Practice of Government, Health and Not for Profit at SDA Bocconi School of Management.
His collaboration with SDA Bocconi began in 2008, he participated in several research projects for public institutions and companies. He is part of the faculty of several masters and open and custom executive courses. Contract professor of Bocconi University teaches in courses in Management of Government and Non Profit Organisations and Project Management & Funding of International Programs. From 2017 He coordinates the advanced course in Health Contracting and Purchasing Management (MASAN) and the open course in Management of European Funding.
His research activity focuses on public-private interactions, in particular in the context of public contracts, public private partnerships, impact investing. Another stream of research focuses on sustainability: renewable energy sources, energy efficiency policies for which he has participated in numerous research and written some scientific papers. He is part of the research team of the SDA Bocconi Observatory - Cergas MASAN, on procurement and contracts in the healthcare sector.
Author of numerous essays and academic papers concerning the topics he treated. His work has been published on EGEA, Greenleaf Publishing, Palgrave Mcmillan, Environmental Science & Policy and Energy Policy. He contributes regularly to the debate on the topics he deals with by publishing articles in specialized magazines - Staffetta Quotidiana - and national newspapers - Il Sole 24 Ore Sanità, Edilizia e Territorio.

He graduated in Economics and Management of International Public Institutions and a Double Degree in Management of Public Administrations and International Institutions at Bocconi University and a Master in Territorial and Urban Strategies at Sciences-Po. Finally he received a Doctorate in Management at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies.
