Helen Berents (Ph.D., University of Queensland) is a lecturer in the School of Justice at the Queensland University of Technology. Her research engages with conflict-affected young people and strategies for everyday peacebuilding. More broadly, she examines questions of forced migration, peace and protracted conflicts, the politics of childhood and youthhood, and feminist discourses of marginalisation.
