Anderson Tanoto is a Managing Director and member of the Executive Management Board of RGE â€“ a group of world-class companies in resource-based manufacturing industries operating in Indonesia, China, Brazil and Canada, with over US$20 billion in assets and a workforce of over 60,000 people. He is also a member of the executive committee of Asia Pacific Resources International Limited (APRIL), one of the largest pulp and paper producers in the world.
As member of the Board of Trustees of the Tanoto Foundation, Anderson has led various Foundation initiatives and is a keen philanthropist focused on and passionate about leadership development and poverty alleviation.
Anderson is also an active contributor to the World Economic Forum, leading dialogues around topics and issues that are close to his heart such as climate change, sustainability, and the circular economy.
Anderson was formerly a consultant at Bain & Company and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
