This Mini Urban Farm In Sydney Runs Out Of A Car Park

Urban Green grows 40 types of herbs and vegetables in a special low-impact process. Using ground coconut waste instead of soil and low-energy LED lamps to replace sunlight. This urban farm delivers locally by van and bike, sending the plants out alive, so they last longer and using biodegradable pots made of wood pulp. Urban farms have the potential to grow 180 million tonnes of food a year, supplying 10% of the world’s pulses, roots, and vegetables while reducing food waste and transport emissions. Watch to know more about how this car park in Sydney doubles as a microgreens urban farm.
