Stefaan Decraene (1964, Belgian national) is Chair of the Managing Board of Rabobank. He started his term on January 1st 2023. He has over 30 years’ international banking experience, at both an operational and a managerial level.

Among other things, he was CEO of Dexia Bank Belgium and member of the Dexia Group Executive Committee with responsibility for retail and commercial banking. For the past ten years, Stefaan Decraene served as a member of the Executive Committee of BNP Paribas, where he was responsible for international retail and commercial banking.

Decraene holds a Master Degree in applied economics from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium.
