How Unified Payment Interface (UPI) Is Making India Digital

The Unified Payments Interface (UPI) system is transforming digital payments in India. It allows for real-time, fee-free payments between banks. Since its creation in 2016, UPI has grown exponentially, hitting 8 billion transactions a month in December 2022. Today, this is the main way small businesses receive payments. The technology is open-source, so other countries could soon start using it. Watch the full video to learn more about India’s Unified Payment Interface.
