Zainab Azizi

Global Shaper and Director of Reimagining Afghanistan Forum with Afghanistan Law

Zainab Azizi is a Future50 Leader selected through the World Economic Forum’s Global Foresight Network and the Global Shapers Community, where she contributes to shaping equitable, future-ready systems and embedding intergenerational foresight into policy, leadership, and governance. She is the Founder of the Interwoven Futures Initiative (IFI), a developing nonprofit dedicated to advancing inclusive global futures through future literacy for children, pathways for young women in the Global South to engage in AI and space governance, and dialogue-driven approaches to strengthening the international legal order.
She also served as the Director of the Reimagining Afghanistan Forum with the Afghanistan Law and Political Science Association (ALPA), a volunteer-run academic platform for students inside Afghanistan. Professionally, Zainab is a contractual and program management specialist with a background in law, public policy, and international development. She holds a Master’s degree in International Law (LL.M.) as a Chevening Scholar and a Master’s in Public Policy (M.P.P.) as a Fulbright Scholar.
Zainab has led multiple volunteer and youth-focused initiatives centered on public speaking, inclusive peacebuilding, and accessible education, including programs expanding awareness of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its societal impacts. Her work is driven by a commitment to dialogue, education, and policy as tools to empower Afghan youth, elevate Global South perspectives, and build resilient, interconnected communities for the future.
