Prior to joining AGRA, was Minister of Agriculture and Animal Resources of Rwanda and widely considered to be one of the most successful agriculture ministers in sub-Saharan Africa. Also served as Permanent Secretary at the Rwandan Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources and as President of AGRA.
