The World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community harnesses the innovation of 18,000 young leaders in over 500 hubs across 154 countries. This year, the community focused on building youth leaders, accelerating youth action and amplifying youth voices.
The World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community harnesses the innovation of 18,000 young leaders in over 500 hubs across 154 countries. This year, the community focused on building youth leaders, accelerating youth action and amplifying youth voices.
Achievements include training 1,800 changemakers in leadership skills, involving 1,000 young people in six regional SHAPE events, and hosting the Global Shapers Annual Summit, which gathered 500 innovators and reached over 9,600 virtual attendees, enhancing the visibility of youth initiatives.
In 2024, through a partnership with The Climate Reality Project, 1,000 Global Shapers became certified climate action leaders. Over 400 local social change initiatives engaged more than 1 million people globally. The community also launched an innovation prize with Accenture and the Global Alliance for YOUth, recognizing top solutions led by hubs. The Global Shapers Community remains dedicated to empowering youth leaders, driving impactful actions, and amplifying young voices for a more inclusive and sustainable world.
