Economic fragmentation risks a sharp downturn in global wellbeing. Yet global trade and investment governance, already under acute strain, is hard pushed to provide a response to meet societal and business needs. 

The Forum's Trade and Investment Platform maintains dialogue and action, engaging business and policy-makers in short and long-term steps to build confidence and tackle current challenges. 

Activities include scenario development, sharing of business insights and recommendations to decision makers in national and international contexts. Multi-stakeholder taskforces are supported by a global academic and institutional network and Global Future Council on International Trade and Investment.
