Yousef Yousef is a recognized leader in water technology and environmental innovation. Over two decades at LG Sonic, he has advanced comprehensive water surface management by integrating data-driven AI models, satellite imaging, and ultrasound solutions to predict and control biological contamination—such as algae—across more than 50 countries.
He also serves on the Board of the European Innovation Council (EIC), a €10 billion government-run fund from the European Commission that invests in breakthrough technologies and supports Europe’s green transition.

Beyond his work at LG Sonic and the EIC, Yousef leads a 500+ member green-tech scale-up initiative that unites emerging startups with established enterprises to tackle pressing environmental challenges. Through these roles, he champions sustainable growth and transformative innovation worldwide.
