Mr. Xin Baoan is a professor-level senior engineer in energy and electric power. He has been deeply engaged in the power sector for over four decades, bringing with him extensive management experience and solid technical background.

Currently, he serves as the Chairman of Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization (GEIDCO) and the President of China Electricity Council (CEC).

Prior to his current roles, he has served as the Executive Vice President of China Huadian Corporation, Executive Vice President, President, and Executive Chairman of State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC).
