Thomas Wolf is the co-founder of Hugging Face and Chief Science Officer. An expert programmer, he previously worked programming open-source software that make complex research accessible, creating the Transformers and Datasets libraries. Thomas also works to push for open science in research in AI/ML, trying to lower the gap between academia and industrial labs by imagining and implementing large scale collaboration projects. Ph.D. in Statistical and Quantum physics at Sorbonne University. Also a former patent attorney.
