Takashi Goda is an associate professor in the School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo. He completed his doctoral degree in engineering at the University of Tokyo in 2012, and received the Deans' Award for his academic achievement. In 2017, he received the 2017 Joseph F. Traub Information-Based Complexity Young Researcher Award. His research interests range from numerical analysis, applied mathematics and statistics to decision analysis, uncertainty quantification, and even petroleum engineering.
