Zhang Shige is trade experts and acting head at Huawei Technologies Shenzhen China, working in the company’s Global Government Affairs division on issues of Trade Facilitation and Market Access. She represented Huawei in many international public-private cooperation mechanisms, including the World Customs Organization Private Sector Consulting Group, which advises the WCO on customs and trade matters from the perspective of the private sector. Ms. Zhang has successfully led many projects that contributed to reducing trade costs and removing trade barriers, including AEO policy and qualification projects in over 40 countries. She has also been a frequent speaker at the trade forums at the WTO, UNCTAD and other international organizations and has worked with technical assistance agencies such the International Trade Center to help developing countries implement on trade facilitation and ICT infrastructure. She plays a positive role in international trade rules development during Huawei's participation in global governance.
