A registered professional engineer (P.Eng.), a Senior Member at Institute Engineers Malaysia and an Advisory Board Member of the Asia Pacific Energy Research Centre (APERC), Japan.

He has particular expertise with the energy markets, electricity utilities, industry driven applied research and the reform and transformation of the energy landscape in term of technology, policies and strategies

Maintains a mix of appointments and engagements in several countries within the Asia-Pacific region and beyond, working with decision makers in government, academic, corporate and civil society settings.
