Sandrine de Guio

Global Vice-President, Software Business, Energy Management; Adviser to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Schneider Electric

As Global Vice-President, Software business, Sandrine orchestrates the business transformation of Schneider Electric Energy Management software business. She leads the business model transformation, drives the strategic development of our sustainability offer in software and develops our key partnerships. She is responsible for the definition of external strategic messages on software and digitization.

In 2021, she is the B20 deputy co-chair of M.Tricoire for the Energy and Resource Efficiency task force.
As advisor to the Chairman and CEO, she is in close relationship with government officials, strategic customers, and international institutions (B20, IEA, IMF, UN).

She was previously the head of CEO private office, external strategic affairs, leading the CEO Thought leadership and branding, corporate speeches and social media.

She worked earlier as Chief of staff to the French Minister of State for Development and Francophony, attached to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development. Ran in this respect the climate negotiations/COP21 on finance, adaptation to climate change and developing countries. She is a specialist in crisis management (war in Mali, terrorist attacks in Africa, Ebola). She started her career in the French Treasury on international affairs and environment finance.

She gives conférences in Ecole Polytechnique on Energy and smart cities (2018-2021) and used to give lectures in Sciences Po, Paris School of international Affairs (2016-2017) on policy advising. She authored several publications on climate change and finance, and published studies and articles on African issues. She participates regularly in conferences for Schneider Electric on the new energy landscape and innovation.

Sandrine is graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, she holds a Master of Public Policy (ENPC) and a Post graduate degree on Transport Economics (Paris XII).

Sandrine is a fellow of the 2019 Young Leaders program of the French-African Foundation, under the high patronage of President Macron (France) and President Akufo-Addo (Ghana).

Board Memberships: professional union of engineers (UNIPEF- 2015-2022, and FGCTE- 2016-2022); Schneider Electric France Trade committee (2017-2018); Co-Chair of the Bonn UN climate change talk on finance (2010).
