Rebecca Krauthamer is co-founder and CEO of QuSecure, a company at the forefront of post-quantum cryptography solutions: advanced security that prepares enterprises and government for the impending day when a quantum computer can break public key cryptography. Under Rebecca’s leadership, QuSecure has been recognized as the global product leader in its field and counts among its trusted clients and partners the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, and private institutions like Banco Sabadell, which the SEC spotlighted as a new standard of how financial institutions can prepare for this threat. QuSecure has been honored by Fast Company’s Innovation By Design Awards and Forbes Best Startup Employers 2025. Prior to QuSecure, Rebecca co-founded Quantum Thought, the world’s first Quantum Computing Venture Studio. She also is an advocate for ethical technology development, contributing to initiatives like Coursera’s Certified Ethical Emerging Technologist Program. She served from 2020-2024 on the World Economic Forum’s Global Futures Council on Quantum Computing and has earned a place on Forbes’ “30 Under 30 in Science” list and Inc.’s Female Founder 500 list. She is a graduate of Stanford University with a B.S. in Symbolic Systems.
